This album was a true labor of love. I took experiences from my own life and penned them into music and lyrics that reflect everyday emotions felt in this life. My hopes for this project is to be the voice of those emotions that go unheard and to be the light of hope that says we are not alone.
In my personal belief, there is nothing new under the sun but when you add a personal touch and raw emotions through mucic and lyrics you make magic. I hope you enjoy this CD as much as I did making it. For more information please see below.
Would It MatterThe title song "Livin' To Be Free" ("Click the Play button next to any track to hear a sample of my work.") is a song of a true experience and the belief that all of mankind is loved no matter what they've done or who they are. "Broken" is about a small town girl who experiences abuse and reveals the pain in which she feels. "Would It Matter" is about a couple whose love grows cold and raises the question, which is unsaid. "Daddy's Coat" is the first song I wrote at the age of 16, which illustrates a real life desire of needing my dad in a time were he was away a lot due to work and trying to provide for a family of five. put food on the table.
This CD was made possible by the greatest musicians in Nashville. The likes of Mike Chapman, Jeff King, Mark Casstevens, Glen Duncan, Steve Hinson, Gary Prim and Chris Leuzinger.
